Doesn't work like I thought it would, but still does the job.

They can't be tightened but you really don't have them, they will work. I used painters tape, folded it into a square and tucked it in to create a hold, but still couldn't tighten the rods enough that they couldn't move. But it works with a heavy curtain rod hanging from it. You can attach the plank in a U-shape.
