Review on JUCKER HAWAII MJ 3108 2010 Longboard MAKAHUNA by Frank Rivera

Solid board on longboards

33 year old mother is here so don't worry too much about this review. I've been longboarding since college, so I've got quite a bit of experience under my belt. I usually stick with flex boards because I like to ride as much as possible (I've never been into tricks). I used to be a Sector 9 supporter, but for a number of years I drove a Gallagher Waverly (discontinued) with Seismic trucks. However I was concerned but needed a new board because my son is finally old enough to inherit a good board that has been broken in well. I ordered this Jucker Makahuna based on the reviews but I was not disappointed. I live in Oahu so there's no shortage of places to ride and we've ridden almost every day since I bought the board. The ride is very smooth; It's flexible, but not so much that you feel uncomfortable or unstable. The turning radius is excellent. I'm not yet blown away by the wheels that came with the kit, but they do for now. It rides well and you won't notice any bumps or sticks in the road when you hit them. If you're looking for a solid board that won't break the bank, then this is it. 5 Stars!

Pros
  • BAMBOO layers give the board a visual boost and a livelier curve
Cons
  • Negative impression
