I use this to strain homemade bone material. It works great and is easy to clean. I've been using a regular cheesecloth strainer for 25 years and now that I have it I won't be going back to it. Very satisfied. Updated 07/15/21. I've been using this Chinese strainer for over four years now and can say it's holding up great. I still use it every 2-4 weeks to make bone broth and strain the seeds and skins when making homemade tomato sauce (when I want it silkier). on the day I received it. It's not easy to keep in a small eat-in kitchen as it's made for commercial kitchens, but if you can find a place for it, it will last you for many years.
