GOOD, DURABLE CABLES, EXCEPT ONE!

We use this leash to keep our 13lb 8 year old tomcat Buddy in check when he wants to be outside. After successfully using this cable several times, one day a friend saw a squirrel and the hunt began. We expected Buddy to be reticent when he finished. NOT CORRECT! Oh, the cable held up perfectly, but the rivet connecting the latch to the swivel broke exactly in half, and Buddy rode on. The hunt ended when the squirrel ran into a tree and Buddy gave up and was easily stopped. The rivet seems to be the weakest link.
