DVR is enough, but mobile phone APP and PC APP are a bit weak. The mobile app doesn't have a good view of multiple cameras and doesn't seem to be updated. I have more than enough bandwidth to support 16 1080p cameras but the app is missing. My old system allowed me to stream to my computer with their app and save all the oldest videos for deletion, this doesn't allow recording except clips. When the disk is full, the application freezes for all cameras. Even if there is 1 camera that shows HD, this camera lags behind. I can see someone walking in HD (front door) after already walking on other cams 5 minutes ago. However, playing videos recorded from a DVR on a PC is decent. If you don't plan on using a computer monitoring and recording station or live streaming from all the cameras on your phone at the same time, this is a good system for you.
