Review on ๐Ÿ›ผ Bones Speed Cream: Enhanced Skate Bearing Lubricant by Bob Vulpes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Awaken your landmarks.

Not too expensive and even half an ounce lasts a long time. I want to use this overview to answer some questions I had when I first researched bearing grease. First, if you decide to use a bone accelerating cream, this is the only lube you need. There are many greases that are great for bearings in different conditions, but they all work independently. Bones are not meant to be used on top of your current fat. It works best if you CLEAN the bearings (just google "how to clean skate bearings"). there's a guide for that too with the Speed Cream), then apply 2 drops directly to the balls and raceways in each bearing, twist a bit between your fingers and put it all back together. Second, this grease is relatively light, doesn't hold it that way long as white lithium grease or similar grease and it does not protect either. However, because it's lightweight and designed for skate camps and not heavy gear, it's really fast. White lithium grease does a great job of protecting the bearings from elements like sand and water (and for a long time, but at the expense of speed. If you clean and use the bones regularly, however, if you're lazy and/or plan on doing a lot riding in the rain, mud or sand you might want to consider a heavier lube with more protection Pretty crappy ABEC 7s, after riding them for less than a day I completely cleaned them with solvent and regreased with bone and literally felt like I bought new bearings, stop reading this review and go!
