This attachment fits my Dyson MultiFloor 2 EXACTLY. It's just a pet hair brush, when you press the lever and then release the needles retract into the grooves and the vacuum's suction power sucks her hair . Sometimes you have to run your hand over it to suck up all the hair, but it works as advertised. I've been in touch with Dyson regularly for a long time and they won't budge from the exorbitant price for mine, I've tried but in the end it's EXACTLY the same for PART of the price. 5 STARS
