This is a great little gadget from Switchbot. It is easy to install and instantly detects a closed or open door. This works great in the Switchbot app and was recognized and set up very quickly. I installed it at the top of the front door and it was incredibly easy. Just peel off the 3M tape and stick it on. and then it is installed. I can now use the touch sensor in the Alexa app using the procedure to link it to other home automation software! This way it's pretty easy to program the lights/devices in your home to recognize when you leave/enter your home and automatically greet you or turn on the lights! I can't wait to see the next Switchbot products!
