Review on πŸ“· Enhance Your Raspberry Pi Zero W: Fisheye Wide Angle 5MP 1080p Night Vision Camera Module by Robert Arneson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

and night vision with the LEDs on is pretty good. Slightly oversaturated on some surfaces.

This camera serves its intended purpose quite well. The lens has a wider angle than the original Raspberry Pi camera, and the night vision with the LEDs on is pretty good. A bit oversaturated on some surfaces, but not bad. I took a dark photo with the main light off and the room closed when it was night outside so not much light comes through the window. The only thing I don't really like about the camera are the LEDs. faint red glow visible to the naked eye. I'm not sure why that is. But if you're trying to use a hidden camera, that glow-in-the-dark is going to be a pretty big deal. I attach 3 photos to my review. The one that looks like it was taken closer to the table in the picture is the original 1.3 Pi Camera version. The other two are taken from the same position with the lights on and off. So you can see the wide angle lens effect here. Ignore the wavy lines on the photos, I was lazy and did it on Pi-Zero without WiFi, so I just took pictures from the monitor on my phone, hehe :) There are none of those wavy lines on the camera pictures. and for reference, the camera is about 10 feet from the back wall and about 6 feet from the chair in all three images.
