I had no heat from my car's radiator. After using this tool to flush the radiator and engine, it's now hot inside. Before moving on to this tool, I considered replacing the core ($1300 job) as I had once professionally flushed the coolant at a repair shop and VW dealership, but after each flush it stayed warm and became days never hot again Then I read about this tool on the PassatWorld blogs and decided to give it a try and now I'm thankful I did. This tool removed a lot of dirt from the heater core, engine and radiator. Being able to provide long and short bursts of compressed air (I used 60psi) during the process was critical to success as the debris was exiting the system at this point. I kept doing this until I had clean water in my bucket with no dirt. It's not a plug and play solution as every machine is different, but there's nothing that a professional can't easily control. Before using this tool I was very concerned about what I might get myself into, but that is no longer the case. I don't know how long my car will stay fried. I could imagine needing this tool again, but now I know it will do its part of the job well.
