Review on Demco 5975 Steering Wheel Strap by David Moreno

We purchased this strap to hold the steering wheel of our Scion iA when being towed on a two wheeled cart with the rear wheels of the car on the ground and the front wheels on the cart. The Scion starts with a button and the steering wheel does not engage with a key like in cars, so it is very important to ensure the security of the steering. This is an important step, especially as we are pulling behind a Class C motorhome and cannot see the underside of our car. If the front wheels were to rotate, this could cause problems with the tie down straps and lead to a possible accident. Maybe even the car falls off the wagon. This belt is very simple in design, but it just works. A vertical strap attaches to the wheel and the two bottom hooks attach under the front seat or on the seat adjuster bar and then tighten. Works very well. Five stars for the simple design, but only four because of the outrageously high price of this simple strap.
