I bought two of these drives and they both failed in less than a year. If you want to store something important, don't buy these discs. Luckily I had backup copies of my data on a different brand of drive so I didn't lose anything in the event of a failure, but if I were to rely on Toshiba I'd be a lot tougher on them here. Also, they only honored the warranty on one of the two, broke the leadframe and claimed that my second failure would void my warranty. It wasn't broken when I sent it. Make sure you take pictures of the connectors when you return them so they can't claim you broke them.
