I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The sensor works fine except for one small issue that I will explain later. Overall this is a great tire shop. It seems to give accurate readings compared to other tire sensors. I like that it's durable, made of metal, and has a black rubber shock-absorbing protective cover around the measuring head. Even after accidentally dropping the gauge and the protective rubber coating prevented damage to the gauge, it still works great and reads accurately. The only problem is the small swivel base. I fully understand that the rotating base should be an advantage to allow the dial to be rotated so it faces the user for easy viewing of the dial when checking tire pressure. However, this small swivel base is very difficult to hold, making it difficult to mount a pressure gauge directly onto the tire valve stem to get a correct reading. It would help if the rotating base was larger so you could hold more, or just removed the rotating function as the pressure gauge still reads the pressure until the pressure release button is pushed so I can always look at the dial upon receipt. pressure measurement.
