Two such disks were taken, somewhere in 2022. I stuck them in my youth in RAID 0, because it's fast, fashionable, etc. The first disk began to fail after two years of use (accurately after the end of the warranty). We managed to pull out the data from the array. The second fell down recently, in the seventh year of life. By noise: it is, quite normal for an HDD. Some reference video card or a boxed cooler can easily block this noise. I thought that the joke with the termination of work immediately after the end of the warranty period is only about washing machines and other household utensils, but not about a data storage device. The first HDDs in memory that drove off to another world not from falling on the floor or something else, but from normal use. I decided to try Seagate 7E8 as a replacement; At least they have a longer warranty, we'll see .
