For door bracket

I bought a couple of these to see if they could be used as an emergency jamming method. They got heavier and the stainless steel hinge was a good idea to push them deeper into the doorknob. The rubber was too soft for this purpose, and the stainless steel loop broke off the wedge heel with a hard snap. This is not a criticism of the product, it was not advertised as anything more permanent than a doorstop. But I was hoping to use them as a protective wedge.
