Review on 🔬 Yosoo® 6v DC DIY Dosing Pump Peristaltic Dosing Head for Aquarium & Chemical Lab Water Analysis by Angela Wash

This is a decent metering pump with toothed plastic rollers instead of the bare shaft friction drive found in other inexpensive 12v pumps. I measured it dry running at 250mA, not 30mA as advertised. Maybe they meant 300? I'm under the impression that all those cheap metering pumps to save a few bucks don't unload the motors enough so they draw high current and low speed. Motorized ball valves now draw 65mA when moving (12V) so there's no reason they couldn't work there if they were better designed. I want to emphasize again that this pump has a better design than the 12 volt friction drives. If the seller fixes the ad, I'll add a few stars.
