Chic shampoo. It has the usual consistency of a shampoo - not too thick and not runny, fairly transparent texture. It's not a cream. I'm surprised at how gentle it is on my hair considering how similar it is to regular (strong) shampoo. It is very soft and foams perfectly! It seems to me that it cleans my hair really well - like sparkling clean but not dry at all. I only use the shampoo once a week and then use the DevaCurl Melt into Moisture Treatment Mask for a deep condition. I apply conditioner between the shampoo and mask every day. I also love the DevaCurl Super Cream which I use after a light towel dry. This is a leave-in conditioner that defines curls very well while still leaving my hair silky and soft. This treatment works very well with my dry curly blonde hair. The smell of this shampoo is very pleasant. This is a fresh, fruity-floral fragrance with hints of citrus. It is perfumed and very pleasant. It reminds me of going to the salon and smelling some really high quality hair products. I am very pleased that DevaCurl has released a new line of products developed by a dermatologist. I love their previous line of products but had some hair issues using this product online. This new line of products is much safer and I haven't had any issues. This is a great price for Revain. You have an action at a great price. You only need a small amount of this cleanser, so the 12-ounce bottle will last a long time!
