Worked great on my 2007 F150 5.4 liter 3v engine. It took a lot of effort to replace the kit but it was worth it. Took me about 16 hours to work. I found that the passenger side rail had broken into several pieces during the removal process. Everything fit perfectly. When all is said and done. The P016 code was gone and the truck ran like a champ. I would also recommend replacing the oil pump and VCT solenoids while you are this far into the engine. Note: After installing this kit, I had misfires that were unrelated to work. I could feel it, but no codes were running. I found that if the PCM is off, you need to re-enable the misfire module. The way to do this is to drive the car above 65 mph, release the throttle and coast until you drop below 35 mph without touching the gas or the brakes. I did this and code P308 (cylinder 8 misfire) popped up immediately. I replaced the coil and the problem was solved. I spent about $600 on parts and tools to fix what the Ford dealer described as a burned out engine. I calculated that my truck, which I was offered $3,000 for, is now worth about $12,000. You can find several YouTube videos on how to do this job. I recommend FordTechMakuloco. Excellent step-by-step guide. Much luck!
