This heater is quiet, the fans don't make much noise. The heat dissipation is excellent. It also has good temperature control and functionality. It works better than my Dyson (quieter, heats up better). The beep isn't as annoying, but it makes the exact same sound as my dog's invisible collar. Every time I pressed the button, she would get scared and run away. She no longer lay down in my office next to me. I felt terrible. I ended up desoldering the small speaker inside on the circuit board. Now that it's gone, I really lack "confirmation" that I changed the setting. But my dog will lie next to me again.
