Works great in the basement

I have had this heater for 2 months now. I use it in the basement when it's always cold there in winter. If you move within 10 feet of his hesitation, you will instantly feel warm. The whole room (approx. 12x26) heats up in approx. 20 minutes. this is exactly what i was looking for.

Pros
  • Heat More Parts of the Room: Foot pedal activates motorized vibrations to circulate warm air throughout the room.
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Quality Product: Space Heaters

This is one of the best heaters I have ever bought. I'm glad I was willing to spend the extra money on it. The product is a very good product. The amount of heat given off by the heater is enough to quickly warm up the room. The heater is very quiet and works great. I highly recommend others to buy this product if they are looking for a space heater. This heater won't let you down.

Pros
  • Instant Heat: 1500W (5120 BTU) of power for instant personalized heat.
Cons
  • Updates

Good, stylish little heater

Nice, stylish little heater. It heats up well and has 2 power settings (minimum power - mode 1, maximum power - mode 2) and an economy mode that changes the power as needed to reach the desired temperature. A loud BEEP BEEP sounds on the remote control or on the device itself to confirm the request. For a device that's billed as "quiet," I find that quite ironic. -1 star for annoying beeps.

Pros
  • Automatically saves energy: the ECO function automatically adjusts the heating and power settings for the most comfortable and economical heater
Cons
  • Not the best

Inaccurate thermostat

Another heater that does not have a properly working thermostat. How far have I gone? Different models, different brands? Does not matter. They are all far apart. I set this to 68 in a small room and my thermometer reads 74.7. and it still works. Is it really THAT hard to make these things work at least reasonably correctly? A few degrees less would be fine, but 7 is a bit ridiculous. Most heaters are available in 5 degree increments. At least you can set exact temperatures here, so I can just…

Pros
  • 150 sq. Comfortable feet: Best suited for small to medium-sized rooms up to 150 m². ft.
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Best heater I've ever had, but I turned the horn off

This heater is quiet, the fans don't make much noise. The heat dissipation is excellent. It also has good temperature control and functionality. It works better than my Dyson (quieter, heats up better). The beep isn't as annoying, but it makes the exact same sound as my dog's invisible collar. Every time I pressed the button, she would get scared and run away. She no longer lay down in my office next to me. I felt terrible. I ended up desoldering the small speaker inside on the circuit board…

Pros
  • Quiet system that halves the noise compared to previous De'Longhi models
Cons
  • Some cons

One question - why?

Has a terrible numeric meaningless interface. Pressing any key has a 3-5 second delay in performing that action (why?!). For example, if you press the "Fan" button once (why?), wait 3 seconds (why?), and then start the fan. Lots of nonsensical features like "ECO" are thrown in just for the sake of confusion. Terrible red LED on the front, bright enough for reading (stick it in the bedroom when you want to sleep) - same goes for the screen, why do I need a digital screen for this thing? There is

Pros
  • Protects pipes from freezing: When temperatures drop below freezing, the heater automatically heats up in standby mode, ideal for preventing pipes from freezing in basements.
Cons
  • No power

Heats up well, has the characteristics I was looking for

Update: I've had it for a year now and wanted to update my review. This heater is still working and I am considering buying a second one for my living room as I have this in my bedroom. Old review: I only got it yesterday so I only have yesterday and today's performance but so far so good! The power cord is a good length, the heater is solid and the handle on the back holds well, it beeps very loudly and turns off automatically if knocked over, the interface is very easy to use, and the fan…

Pros
  • Ceramic heating element provides fast and strong spot heat, safe
Cons
  • Reliability

Safety should always come first

I only bought this product a week ago because my last ceramic heater from another brand had a melting problem. So I sent the last one back, bought this very expensive one, thinking it must be good for the price alone. Unfortunately, yesterday morning when I got up, I encountered the same problem: the plug melted a little around the metal part, the metal twisted a little, and I'm really afraid to use it at night. At first I was quite satisfied, because the workmanship is really good compared to…

Pros
  • Multiple heating modes: Minimum, Boost and EcoEnergy for up to 40% energy savings
Cons
  • For seniors
