Safety should always come first

I only bought this product a week ago because my last ceramic heater from another brand had a melting problem. So I sent the last one back, bought this very expensive one, thinking it must be good for the price alone. Unfortunately, yesterday morning when I got up, I encountered the same problem: the plug melted a little around the metal part, the metal twisted a little, and I'm really afraid to use it at night. At first I was quite satisfied, because the workmanship is really good compared to the cheap models. Works well and the noise is much lower than my previous heater. In addition, the remote control is very convenient. 24-hour timer means it can work continuously for a long time. And I was careful not to just crank it up to maximum power with ECO mode. However, this problem annoys me a lot, after all, I paid 30 dollars more, I just want to get a heater that can safely work at night. The problem does not affect the use of the heater, but I feel really unsafe. However, this time the problem is not as severe as with my previous ceramic heater, so I am only asking for a partial refund. But I'll only use it when I'm awake and on the lowest setting just to keep my feet warm when I'm working out at home. Just a small note to the manufacturer although the product is good but as many heaters can have a candle melting issue this issue should be addressed really carefully. And the overheating protection should actually also include the power plug.

Pros
  • Multiple heating modes: Minimum, Boost and EcoEnergy for up to 40% energy savings
Cons
  • For seniors
