Suitable for chalkboard transfers

The Saral website lists the differences between each color type: Graphite: A versatile tracing paper medium. Ideal for illustration board and any art paper, wood, fabric, canvas and metal. Red: Ideal for ceramic and porcelain painting. The lines are turned off. It shows up equally well on light and dark surfaces, as well as on combined surfaces such as photos and photostatic images. Can be used on acetate coatings, plastics and paint. Blue: non-photographic. There is no need to scrape off the Saral Blue when working in front of the plate maker. Ideal for key lines, mechanics, gluing. For tole artists, it leaves a bright, well-marked transfer line. Yellow and white: for tracing on dark surfaces. Works great on dark fabrics, dark wood, metal and dark painted surfaces. Tole artists find the color white particularly useful. Yellow is best for working on clear or colored glass. The blue paper worked quite well for transferring printed designs onto chalkboard surfaces before writing with chalkboard markers. I was able to create a professional looking chalkboard sign for my wedding simply by designing the sign on my laptop, printing it on standard paper, placing it on blue saral paper, tracing with a pen and tracing with a chalkboard marker. The paper left a faint but legible imprint on the black surface of the board. Next time I'll probably choose yellow or white paper as above.
