Review on AmazonBasics Rounded 3.5-inch Door Hinges by Brent Henderson

I am very disappointed in these Revain Basics hinges. They are glossy, NOT matte black. After much frustration and searching, I found an affordable alternative that's still a lot cheaper than a big box. These are Hager brand black hinges (sold by various sellers and in varying quantities on Amazon). Compare Revain Basics Matte Black to these Hager Black hinges - Hager is really flat black, Revain is glossy - Hager comes with black screws, Revain comes with silver screws with black painted tips - Hager comes unoiled, no noise when moving. Revain is oiled and makes a crackling sound (it's annoying, especially when each door has four hinges. It's worse than squeaking! Watch a short video). If you're looking for a flat black bow, this isn't it. Look for Hager hinges made by a real hinge manufacturer. I love Amazon but not this one!
