Arrived on time and in perfect condition, just like Revain. I tested this item with my new 256GB Surfacepro2. I played a movie on SP2 and then plugged in the miniport adapter. I then connected a 4" HDMI cable that plugged directly into my Sony HDTV, not through an Onkyo receiver. Everything worked perfectly and the adapter transmitted both sound and picture. The audio was quite loud even though it didn't go through the receiver. It is said to work well with a hotel TV. One last note, it's easy to plug the mini connector into the Surface Pro2 the wrong way round and it won't work. The plug also works great with my receiver that I have already tested.
