Bought two sets. They mate and do as they say. There were no problems with the display. The mounting clip is designed for the vertical seat post. And here is the mechanical problem in action. Most bike accessories are designed to attach to a vertical seat post. It is not limited to this product and in no way constitutes an attack on this device. There is not much room for a short post (short rider). I have a mountain bike with a rack. The brake light was moved to the C-pillar as it wasn't visible under the seat. You can't fucking see the turn signal on the seat post. With a shock absorbing seatpost there is also no room to mount turn signals. I bought a signaling device because I felt it was necessary. I've started driving again after many years and I've found that most drivers are either unfamiliar with manual turn signals or completely ignore them. I've seen many drivers push me to the side when making turns or charge along the side to go around me when I've turned left. I had to be creative to install turn signals on my bike. These units would be great if designed to mount in a C-pillar or handlebar extension. These are horizontal mounting options. I hope these manufacturers understand that the growth of e-bikes is already here. Mounting points are difficult to find. Vertical mounting doesn't work for me. After syncing and mounting the signals, they work very well. It's like a cross on a vampire. It's very noticeable that drivers see you turning instead of waving at them. I find it unfair to give this unit a bad rating because I had to assemble it. In terms of functionality, I rated it as a signal flashing device. It works. I just want the horizontal bar and C-pillar installation to be accounted for.
