It didn't take a week and the top came off along with the bearing.

Not even a week. I went to change the wheel, jacked up the car and pulled out the shaft and bearing. There was no cover or plate holding the bearing to the top of the strut. Luckily it happened in my driveway and not somewhere on the street. The photo was taken after I reinstalled the bearing. But you can see in the first photo that the shaft and bearing are pushed down and out. I'm having a lot of trouble getting them to replace it or even get help for the product.
