Great (but small) display, case cracks over time

This review is written almost a year after the purchase of this product. I hope this review can be helpful. Screen: The drivers for Raspian are easy to set up, but I had trouble setting them up on other distros like Kali. As soon as you buy it, you'll receive an email with useful links to the latest drivers and instructions for proper assembly. Keep in mind that this is a very small display, which I don't think is well suited for actual code and software development, but is great for monitoring the output of existing software. Sometimes your GUI panes go off screen, making customization difficult. I had particular problems with the GUI-based network configuration window. The touchscreen works well but I never use it because the screen is so small. The stylus it comes with literally looks like a Nintendo DS stylus, but it still works. The screen still works great after a year, so you don't have to worry about durability. Case Don't expect much from a case, it fits well but the connectors that hold it together break pretty easily if you're not careful over time. Mine is completely unusable now because it's not sticking together anymore, but I can still glue it or something if I really have to. You may also want to consider 3D printing your own case, possibly thicker and more durable. Overall this is a good buy for the price. I'm still using it a year later (though without the case) and it works great.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
