I have used Gorilla Tape successfully in the past although it leaves stains on the edge that are difficult to remove 100%. I tried it the first time with my gravel wheels but I didn't get the width I wanted which completely changes the way the wheel holds pressure. Rather than rework the Gorilla Tape, I decided to try a custom tubeless rim tape. WTB suggests buying a tape 5mm wider than the internal width of the rim, which I did. The band is of good quality and slides easily over the center canal and reaches both edge walls. The rest of the setup was easy and the wheels hold pressure well. I don't think this band is anything special, but it does its job well.
