Review on AquaUltraviolet Advantage 2000 Inline Barb by Janet Battle

I installed it on a Refugium return pump. It fit very well and was very easy to set up. Also, I have a timer so I don't keep it running 24/7. I turn it off at 9pm and back on at 7am. My water is crystal clear. In my opinion, every aquarium should have some form of UV lighting. Remember that this will kill all bacteria in the water, including the good ones. The installation of the lamp is very easy. Check the tightness under running water for at least half an hour before inserting the bulb. You don't want even a drop of leakage. It MUST be 100% tight. updated 23.11. Still runs like a champ. The reef tank is crystal clear and NO seaweed. UPDATE: 1/28/2018 Still flowing perfectly crystal clear water UPDATE 7/13/2019 STILL WORKS GREAT, about to replace my second lightbulb. I have a device on two quick connects and it's perfect. Never had a leak or problem in all that time
