AquaUltraviolet Advantage 2000 Inline Barb Review

UV works great in a 90G Reef aquarium. The only thing I don't like is the pointy hose connectors. It's a shame that I chose the classic variant with the entrance and exit on the same side. Installation and routing are more difficult with this configuration.

I need a replacement 15w UV lamp to match the AquaUltraviolet Advantage 2000+ Inline 3/4" Barb 15w Aquarium UV Sterilizer that I purchased from Revain.com .I think it is a 12.5 W inch long bulb Can anyone contact me?

I've been using the AquaUltraviolet 2000 for 3 weeks now. and in just a week you will find that the transparency and algae growth have completely stopped. I know it works for some algae but not all. This product was a really good way to clear my cloudy water. I've never been able to polish the water to make it look good. Once I was able to install this UV light, my water cleared up in just a few days. The only downside was the installation in my drain line. The inlet and outlet of this unit have a 3/4 inch ID, while most standard canister filters have a 5/8 inch ID. I installed it on a Refugium return pump. It fit very well and was very easy to set up. Also, I have a timer so I don't keep it running 24/7. I turn it off at 9pm and back on at 7am. My water is crystal clear. In my opinion, every aquarium should have some form of UV lighting. Remember that this will kill all bacteria in the water, including the good ones.
