Not perfect, but works

This gadget is not very easy to use. Having used Quicktionary (which has similar processing) before, it was much easier for me. If you are new to this and only try it a few times, you may not get the best results. Technology is everything here. Ideally, you should try it for a few days and patiently follow the instructions. Also, I already had experience with OCR, which means that after many attempts to recognize text pages with OCR software, I was somewhat used to checking and correcting many errors in them, but still preferred to do it, instead of printing it (many people prefer not to). So if after the transfer I get a large number of errors that need to be fixed later on my computer, I've made up a bit. Don't expect miracles (yet). But I have to tell you that I am really satisfied with this product. I read a lot and have always felt the need to have a synopsis or notes on what I read. But I don't like writing, making notes, or emphasizing sentences in my books, and I don't have the patience to write a synopsis after I've read them. I tried taking notes on tape, but I didn't like that either. In the end, that's the best solution. If I like a sentence, I'll copy it in bed. After reading a couple of pages, I download the text to my computer and, of course, I have to make a lot of changes, but I didn't miss the main thing and didn't destroy my book. I like. Cons: Difficult to access characters for corrections and/or input, it keeps scanning while you make text corrections, you can't change the scan idiom mid-text (although it still intelligently recognizes other languages than the original one chosen) .

Pros
  • Transfer text to PC, laptop, PDA or mobile phone
Cons
  • Obsolete model
