I bought this screen protector instead of another pack of 2 full glass screen protectors because I had to spend $2 to get free shipping and they were a bit more expensive than the ones I originally added to the cart. I mean it looks like a decent screen protector. I bought this to replace a very crappy scratched plastic I had on an iPad Mini 2 so it should definitely be better than this one. The packaging was nice but a little strange inside, it had 2 wet wipes and 2 dry wipes (never seen wet wipes with a screen protector) and no microfiber cloth or installation card. The instructions on the back were also wrong for the products inside because they told me to wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth, so I used wet then dry cloths, then peeled off the first protective layer (it wasn't there), peel off the second one and put it on the screen, then use the bubble seal card to remove the air bubbles that weren't in the box again. It was so tedious to put on that I don't understand why the iPad screen protector doesn't have little side protrusions to help you put it on. Maybe more expensive ones, I don't know, I've only bought cheap screen protectors for my Mini and good ones for my iPhone. But the one I bought for my 8+ had tabs to help you hold it while you apply it. I had to remove and repaste I think 3 or maybe 4 times before I just said hell and left it. As others have said, the hole cut out for the home button is very unforgiving, and there's no cutout for the front camera at the top, making it quite difficult to place it correctly. Luckily the Mini 2 doesn't have fingerprint recognition, so it doesn't really matter that mine is a bit off-centre, but it will still bother me. It flattened out with just a small bubble on the edge of the screen and another on the right side that I smoothed out with a credit card. It's definitely not anti-glare or fingerprint resistant, so that's a lie. However, I did not notice any loss of touch sensitivity. That's enough for my slow old lady. All in all, it just looks like an ordinary off-brand screen protector from China. However, reading some other reviews it seems like this product is a bad buy. You may receive one that rips or tears when you remove the sticker, so you don't want to push your luck and consistently choose something better.
