When my candles reach the end of their life there are usually a few left that I hate but without a wick they can't burn. So I melt the wax and pour it into a large candle jar. I've used other traditional wicks with this, but they often don't melt the wax on the outside as it has to be too far from the heat source. They are big enough and provide enough heat to melt everything in a large candle jar. I am very happy with it. The only thing I don't like is that they crackle sometimes, but I guess that's to be expected with wood.
