Not really compatible with Pixel 3
Instead of placing the phone upside down on the bottom of the mount, hold it high enough that the volume buttons don't touch the clamp that holds the phone. Turns a quick one-handed clip into something more complex. The extension length is perfect for my 2012 Audi Q5, the phone fits next to the steering wheel but doesn't obstruct the air vents or view of the central information screen.
