Good sized product for shelf placement, easy to read temp, but what temp? Accuracy is given as +/- 2F. So if you see 36F in your fridge, you should understand that it can be anywhere from 34F to 38F. For the price I would have expected more accuracy. I would really like this product if the accuracy was +/- 0.2F. You can hang the thermometer instead of placing it on a shelf if your shelf's wiring runs horizontally inside the refrigerator. The position of the hook makes it impossible to hang from a shelf if the wiring runs that way. You also can't hang outside the freezer basket and see the temperature for the same reason. It is inconvenient to put the thermometer in the freezer basket when putting food in the freezer.
