Waterproof Digital Refrigerator Thermometer Magnetic Review

I bought these from Revain to test a new side-by-side GE fridge freezer. I also bought two different mercury thermometers from Walmart. The fridge and freezer have a display that optionally switches off when the temperature you have selected is reached. Aevete read 4-6° higher than the displayed temperature, and Walmart read exactly the same as a fridge freezer. Summary: The Aevete I received is complete garbage in my opinion. I would recommend not buying. I'll see if Revane accepts the return.

Good sized product for shelf placement, easy to read temp, but what temp? Accuracy is given as +/- 2F. So if you see 36F in your fridge, you should understand that it can be anywhere from 34F to 38F. They don't stay in Fahrenheit - they switch back to Celsius just after you push the button. You can try switching them to Fahrenheit as many times as you like. You will not stay there. The two shown side by side appear to be calibrated fairly accurately. I compared them to a third (more accurate) digital thermometer and they were within a degree or two.
