Review on Waterproof Digital Refrigerator Thermometer Magnetic by Weston Metzger

The two shown side by side appear to be calibrated fairly accurately. I compared them to a third (more accurate) digital thermometer and they were within a degree or two. The instructions say the accuracy is +/- 2°F, which makes you wonder why the display even bothered to show tenths of a degree. You can ignore the decimal value entirely. I like the hook and magnet to attach it, and the large display. The high and low readings are great for knowing the outer limits of ambient temperature during fridge compressor cycles. It would be better if the high/low values only updated at stable temperatures and not at instantaneous spot temperatures. Why? Because if you open the fridge door and let in warm air or take the thermometer out of the fridge to read these numbers, the temperature reading can rise a few degrees, effectively erasing the previous high temperature on the display.
