I've tried several fridge thermometers (RT) and was annoyed that they were very inaccurate or the temperature fluctuated from thermometer to thermometer. I even bought some regular non-digital ones that were supposed to be NST certified and two of them read 6 degrees! I ended up buying 3 from different manufacturers and since the 2 matched I figured it was the right temperature. I also tried a fourth thermometer and it matched the other two so at least I knew what temperature was right. we can conclude that it is good. So take them, they are accurate and the quality control is good. These RTs also show the maximum and minimum temperatures so you know how cold the fridge is getting. Other RTs that don't have this feature will show high readings if you open the door for a few seconds and they warm up. So if you stick to that temperature, it's wrong. Use MIN. Temperature with these RTs to determine the correct temperature at which your refrigerator will operate.
