If you're making an investment in the food stored in your fridge, it makes sense to monitor the temperature in the freezer and fridge compartments. The waterproof digital LED fridge thermometer monitors well the range of temperatures encountered in the fridge. The thermometer stays within a temperature level reported by my refrigerator. The LED is easy to read. The mounting options leave room for improvement, the Tycoon is not strong enough to get stuck anywhere. Also, the refrigerators made today have a plastic/glass interior and do not have steel racks to hang a thermometer hook on. A minor annoyance, the thermometer battery was dead on arrival. For its intended purpose, I give the thermometer four stars.
