They don't stay in Fahrenheit - they switch back to Celsius just after you push the button. You can try switching them to Fahrenheit as many times as you like. You will not stay there. (Update: It looks like the buttons are broken. They're also not in the same position as in the photo - they're in a different order. And now one button doesn't even "switch" to Fahrenheit.
