Review on COLOR RAIN TIME Waterproof Protection by John Holliday

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Didn't last that long.

Car cover purchased February 2020. At first glance the car cover looked very nice. When it rained, it held most of the water. Wasn't 100% waterproof but was more water resistant to a degree. Not that big of a deal because I wanted it to protect the color more from the sun so I brushed it off as something else. Now 7 months later the lid has lost all of its black color and looks gray instead of black. Not my biggest concern as I know the sun will damage colored foods over time. What annoys me is that the car paint is now more prone to cracking. I am very patient in attaching/detaching the cover to keep it for a long time. But now it seems so bad that I have to buy another one. Really sad as I have other car covers that last over 3 years with no cracks or sun damage. As for the "warmth" that Revain has. To ask about. A comfortable temperature is maintained inside. Much less than without a suitcase. On a SoCal day at 110°+ it will be just over 100° inside. So it keeps it at least 10° lower, which isn't too bad.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Only available in black
