Good item but it will take some time to install in the grill of a 2018 GMC and use 3M finishing tape. I painted mounting hardware and a lock nut on the steps to "lock" them in place and prevent rusting as other buyers have noted. I recommend installing with 3M tape as car washes and vibration can detach the emblem. Take the time to get it right because it's a nice addition as the 2018 GMC 4X4 only has a 4X4 Z-71 badge on the front fender next to the side mirrors. I put one on the tailgate that comes with 3M tape.
