Review on High-performance Oil Separator PCV Valve Cover + Gasket for 2012-2018 Audi Quattro A4 A5 A6 Q5 Allroad 2.0T - Part#: 06H103495AE by Jeff Westra

My Audi 2.0T TFSI in my 2012 Q5 would fire when cold and idling (not after the engine had reached operating temperature). During diagnostics I found that I could blow on the PCV valve in the hose coming from the intake and it would flow through the valve. The large reed valve, which could be replaced with a PCV, was in good condition, so I needed a full valve. Bought this valve, installed it and still had cold misfires in all cylinders. Valve cover and timing chain gaskets leaking due to a faulty PCV. Ave Mary, I replaced the timing chain gasket and used Permatex to seal the valve cover and voila, it works great! No more misfires or check engine lights. I highly recommend those with cold misfires to replace the PCV while also repairing any oil leaks caused by the PCV, otherwise the engine will still recognize VCG leaks as intake manifold leaks.
