I liked this monitor about a week ago. It started flickering, blinking, and weird digital distortions appeared. After about 30 seconds or so it started to settle down and just flashed a black screen every few minutes. This went on for 2 days at 144hz and 120hz but not 60hz. It then started to run at 60Hz and much more when a higher Hertz was set. It was still usable, but it was disappointing nonetheless. My deleted review had a video about the issue, but that was probably removed for the content too, but it was an update to the original review. Which they also removed. I have returned to update my review with more information. So yesterday (06/21/2022) my replacement monitor arrived. I was halfway through installing the surveillance system and decided to leave the monitor for tomorrow. I was still using the original 60Hz monitor but had no problems with it. I just crossed my fingers and didn't dare to test 144Hz. Okay, today (06/22/2022) I made coffee, then sat down at the computer and woke it up. See my morning news and some YouTube. However, not a single blink until a black screen after about 2 hours. I'm starting to unbox and assemble my new monitor, but I think the new monitor is ready to go. Why not see if the scepter is broken? I set it to 144hz and played a few games, watched a few streams and nothing. Well, I figured it was at 120Hz when I first had the problem, so I set it to 120Hz and redid everything before trying to "break" it. But no problem for 3 hours. I will be using Scepter to replace my second monitor. This is a Sharp 32 inch 1080p LCD TV and I am using the new one as the primary screen. I will let you know if I encounter any new problems. Every month I add another star with no problem.
