I chose this cable hoping to avoid the high cost of the 'premium' subwoofer cable I've used in another system. However, mine failed immediately on first use and produced a very loud floor rumble as described by other reviewers. Spent a lot of time to confirm that the problem was with the cable and not the audio components. I ended up buying the premium cable which I wanted to avoid.
