I bought this because the key was stuck in the ignition on a 2002 Porsche Carrera and was difficult to turn. There are installation guides on the internet if you want to handle it yourself. Its installation is not a difficult procedure. However, access to the part in the car, its disassembly and reinstallation is difficult. You really have to twist your body in awkward positions to get to the part in the car. Took me about an hour if you have the right tools and are fairly mechanical by nature or have previously installed car stereos or done a bit of car work. After installation, the ignition works as it should.
