I bought this to record virtual meetings because the webcam I used to record was having trouble picking up the virtual speaker through the computer's speakers. This mic has great reviews but it didn't work for me. I placed the mic no more than 2 inches from the computer speaker, and even then the recording volume was very low. In fact, a webcam placed about a foot from the speaker captured the virtual speaker better than this mic, and I tried recording several different virtual sessions. Similarly, I attended two virtual meetings today and used this to type, and both times I was told the speaker can't hear me unless I put the mic to my mouth (again, a webcam is filming a foot removes my words). . speech is better than this voice recorder). I'm not the most tech savvy so I contacted support to see if there was a way to increase the volume (I first tried adjusting the volume in the sound settings) but unfortunately this only has a mute and mute function. . Technical support didn't even attempt to fix the problem; However, they immediately offered me a refund (which I can easily request through Revain as I am a main member). It tells me there is no troubleshooting option, just reset. That's why I didn't like it despite the many positive reviews. Also, it picked up the same background noise as the webcam, so I wouldn't say the noise canceling feature works well.
