I am a total newbie to knitting. But I've learned a lot already, one of my main lessons from trial and error is that I APPRECIATE METAL KNITTING! lol I had no idea that the material of the knitting needle really matters, so I've only ever used metal. An advanced knitter on YouTube suggested I try wooden needles as they are more successful in the knitting community. Karples tunnels (like me) and people with arthritis as the woody material warms hands and also relaxes as it doesn't ring like metal and the fact that wooden needles work better with the smooth running of the yarn. I used these wooden needles. I've been more successful with my beginner work, I haven't done anything yet but what I'm working on has made me feel confident because YES the yarn doesn't stick and it doesn't seem difficult to work with these needles I had no idea that it would make such a difference, but it is. I seem to work slower but more efficiently (also mentioned for wooden needles and beginners). I highly recommend these needles, they have a very nice design, feel great in my hands and I just love working with them :) I will definitely be buying more sizes <3 GREAT PRICE TOO!
