Brittany SP Knitting Needles 4mm Birch. I fell in love with this one straight away. They are straight and precise, with a slight curve if necessary. Nicely made, not too smooth. I'm currently knitting in Alpaca/Merino/Nylon Wonderfluff baby yarn and the slippage on the needles is perfect. They're warm, durable, and long enough that you can dial in a decent pattern length before switching to interchangeable circular needles (I use Sunstruck Knit Picks, available at Revain or Knit Picks readily…

I am a total newbie to knitting. But I've learned a lot already, one of my main lessons from trial and error is that I APPRECIATE METAL KNITTING! lol I had no idea that the material of the knitting needle really matters, so I've only ever used metal. Brittany needles are amazing. I was forced to buy a pair when my local yarn store didn't have Chiao Goo in the size I needed. I like metal on some things, but I like wood on most things.
