I've just applied the foil for the last hour and so far so good; I will update this review if anything changes. At first there were two small bubbles, but one of them has already disappeared, so I think the other one you see in the photos will disappear soon too. The lid is a stretchy sheet of plastic, but you have to be careful not to stretch it too far around the corners or they'll peel off a bit. Good thing they sent you 6 of these so if you get it wrong on the first try you stand a good chance lol. Installation was pretty easy, just watch the video and REALLY clean the glass before applying the film. . If you don't clean it properly, the film won't stick and you'll end up peeling. It's thin and fits under my soft bag. It's also very clear; You can't even tell there's anything on the screen at all. Regarding the protection: my opinion is that it protects against scratches, but I'm not sure if there are any cracks or chips. I got this because I want to protect my screen when I have to take my soft case off at the gym because sweat got under it and made it impossible for me to work on the screen. Sweat definitely can't get under this coating, but it doesn't seem thick enough to protect against cracking or chipping if I accidentally hit something with my watch. I'd advise you to be careful though if that's your only line of defense against damage. If you're looking for something specific to protect against cracking or chipping, you might be looking for a tempered glass cover or something tougher. This is probably the best protection against scratches.
